NEW ALBUM "MARIANO CAMARASA & THE CAPITALS" OUT NOW

I'm more than grateful to announce the launching of this particular EP! To share this music with you is a great pleasure and I'm very glad I found the means to realise (and finish!!) the production of it. At this point, many thanks to Deutsche Orchesterstiftung!

The music is all composed by Argentenian pianist Mariano Camarasa, the most exciting musician I met back when living in Barcelona 2018/2019. Shortly after he asked me to join his "Jazz - Rock - Project", when we had just rehearsed this most beautiful repertoire and started performing, the pandemic cut of my time there over night as I had just arrived for a short visit in Germany on 11th of march 2020, literally a day before the borders got closed, if I remember right.

So I can say, this production was a struggle. However, I couldn't give up on it, the urge to share this music with you was huge, so I insisted and finally got founded, so we could record in 2021, ... and despite all odds, finally publish the album now, in early 2024!

Even though it feels like belonging to a past century, I'm proud we made it. And I understand a bit better what wise people mean when saying: "Never give up". The rewards of seeing such a long process coming to a pleasant end is endless!

I hope the music makes you feel a little bit loved, if I managed to share this feeling with you, it was worse each single day of it!
